All exams at Jönköping University are coordinated by a university-wide examination group.

Registration and the exam

You should register via StudentLadok or the app JU Mobile services no later than 10 days before the exam.

The exam venue will be listed in Ladok’s web services and on the specialist schools’ online exam timetables a few days before the exam. Since May 30 you will recieve an confirmation mail if the exam registration is done via JU Mobile. Exam registration via the StudentLadok does not generate an comfirmation mail.

You must be able to produce valid photo ID during the exam. The university’s pass with a full civic registration number and marked with “Identity Card” can be used as ID during exams.

In order to sit an exam via PingPong, an active user account and a log-in for the PingPong activity in question are required.

Any questions regarding the actual exam should be directed to the course coordinator or the examiner.

Permitted aid

You should know in advance what permitted aids are allowed on the current exam. If calculators are allowed, then any of the following models apply (unless otherwise specified by the course coordinator): Casio FX-82, Texas TI-30, Sharp EL-W531. These are also allowed with additional number or letter in the name.

JU Mobile

JU Mobile is linked to your course registrations in Ladok. If you have the notification function on JU Mobile activated you will be notified both when the exam registration period opens and before it closes.

Unfortunately, notifications from JU Mobile to Android mobiles are currently not working! The IT unit is working to solve the problem!

Registration problems

If you have any problems registering, please inform us as soon as possible, but not later than 10 days before the exam, by using our case management system.

Double exams and retakes

If you have registered for two exams that will be held at the same time and you want to sit both, or if you are a student at the School of Engineering who want to re-take a previously passed exam, you should notify this no later than 10 days before the exams by using our case management system.

No extra time will be allocated to students sitting two exams. (In order to be eligible to re-take an exam, there must be students registered via Ladok, who have not already passed the exam.)

Please note: The School of Engineering has decided that no re-takes on previously passed exams are allowed as long as exams are being conducted remotely (which is the case currently due to the corona pandemic). When it is possible to write exams in the exam halls again, re-takes on previously passed exams will be allowed.
