<p><strong>MMTC Seminar with guest Professor Benson Honig&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Title and Seminar Description:&nbsp;</strong></p><p>Save the date for an upcoming MMTC seminar with Benson Honig, exploring themes around entrepreneurship for the global majority and working with marginalised and underserved communities. Further details, including the seminar title and full description, will be shared as an update soon.</p><p><strong>About the speaker:</strong><br /><a target="_blank" href="https://degroote.mcmaster.ca/profiles/bhonig/">Benson Honig</a> is Professor and Business Research Chair in Social Entrepreneurship at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University, Canada. His research focuses on entrepreneurship, including marginalised and transnational entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial ingenuity, and social capital. He is internationally recognised for action research aimed at promoting more resilient and inclusive economies.</p><p>He also directs the Centre for Research on Community-Oriented Entrepreneurship (CRCE) and co-founded the Reframery, a virtual incubator that supports underserved communities&mdash;including women, refugees, older adults, and people with disabilities&mdash;through training, coaching, mentorship, networking, shared services, and micro-grants.</p><p>Benson is also one of the deputy supervisors of PhD candidate Fyery Adhena Abreha.</p>
