Apply for Minor Field Studies-scholarships

Jönköping University is granted scholarships for SEK 1.2 million. It is the scholarship program Minor Field Studies (MFS) funded by SIDA, for which Jönköping University has been granted 40 places.

The scholarship program is aimed at Swedish students studying undergraduate and advanced programmes at Swedish universities. Students granted the scholarship conduct a field study in a developing country for at least eight consecutive weeks. The focus of the field study should be on issues related to the global development process.

Students' interest in the Minor Field Studies programme has increased over the past two years. During the autumn round of applications, JU received 30 applications from students for nine different programmes. The applications were of very high quality and 22 students were granted the scholarship directly.
