  • The Institute of Gerontology receives ”Guldkanten”-scholarship


    This year’s recipient of the “Guldkanten-scholarship” (EN: Golden edge scholarship) is the Institute of Gerontology (IFG) at the School of Health and Welfare, Jönköping University. The scholarship is donated by the retirement organisation SKPF Pensionärerna, to benefit research within geriatrics.
  • Small changes in pension information have big effect on payment choices


    A new research study has shown how small changes in pension information given to workers approaching retirement age impacts not only how they choose to claim their pension, but also produces a knock-on effect in the labour supply for companies. Johannes Hagen, a researcher at Jönköping International Business School (JIBS) at Jönköping University is one of the three co-authors of the paper, published in the highly ranked The Economic Journal (EJ).
  • New Honorary Doctors and Professors at Jönköping University to give inaugural lectures


    On 25 September, the Jönköping University Academic Ceremony will take place. At the ceremony, 26 PhDs and four honorary doctors will be conferred, and seven professors will be installed.
