Cooperation between MMTC Researchers, Moscow State University (MSU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU) in sustainability project.

Earlier this Fall, MMTC member Olof Brunninge was granted funding from the Swedish Institute Baltic Sea Cooperation for a sustainability project including colleagues from Moscow State University (MSU) and Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (VGTU). The purpose of the project is to familiarize faculty and students with contextual differences managers face while working with sustainability management.

Late November Olof Brunninge, Emilia Samuelsson and Henry Lopez together with JIBS students Awesta Seddiqi, Kristina Baumgartner and Martina Leonelli visited Moscow State University to participate in the first workshop during the project. Together with colleagues from MSU and VGTU they started developing an education module that is going to be implemented during courses offered at the participating institutions during the fall of 2019.

Implementation includes project work where students will cooperate across borders through IT-based interaction. Upon completion of the project, the experiences gained can be used to develop further education modules. The next project workshop is scheduled to take place early Spring in Vilnius and a third workshop will take place in Jönköping during the summer.
