<p><strong>MMTC Seminar presented by Lucia Pizzichini </strong>(based on a working paper <em>being presented at the American Phygital Association Conference </em>by Lucia and Adele Berndt<em>.)</em></p><p><strong>Title:</strong> Tourist Sport Engagement in the Phygital Era: Linking Digital Sport Technologies and Revisit Intention</p><p><strong>Description: </strong>This study examines how phygital sport tourism—defined as sport experiences practiced in a specific destination and enhanced by digital tools—strengthens tourist sport engagement, conceptualized as the sustained cognitive, emotional, and behavioural involvement (including socially expressed behaviours such as sharing achievements via digital platforms) of individuals in sport activities performed during travel. The study specifically investigates how the use of digital applications and technologies (e.g., GPS-based platforms, gamified sport apps, AR-supported trails) deepens engagement with sport practice <em>in place</em> and, in turn, fosters revisit intention.</p><p><br /><strong>?
