<p>This webinar will present the results from the pre-study: JU Students&rsquo; Establishment in J&ouml;nk&ouml;pings l&auml;n, conducted by Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) at J&ouml;nk&ouml;ping International Business School with support from Region J&ouml;nk&ouml;pings l&auml;n and the European Regional Development Fund. The overall purpose of the project is to map where J&ouml;nk&ouml;ping University students go after graduation &mdash; geographically, in terms of industry, and from a labour market perspective. <p><strong>MMTC Seminar with guest Monica Porzionato</strong></p><p><strong>Title:</strong>&nbsp;Based on ongoing research on affect, strategic communication, and social media influencing</p><p>In this presentation, Monica will explore how affect and affective atmospheres have been approached in marketing and organisation&nbsp;studies, as well as how these theories can inform and reshape approaches to strategic communication theory and practice. Drawing on insights from her doctoral research, ongoing publications and the INFLU-NORD project, she will elaborate on how affect thinking can deepen our understanding of communication as a means of sustaining common orientations, attachments and forms of collective life.</p><p><strong>About the speaker:</strong><br />Monica Porzionato is a Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Management, Society and Communication, Copenhagen Business School. She holds a PhD in Media and Communication Studies from Lund University (2025), where her dissertation was awarded Best PhD Thesis in the Humanities and Social Sciences by the Royal Society of Sciences in Lund. Her research focuses on affect in media and communication, with particular attention to climate change communication and the role of social media in shaping collective orientations.</p>
