IPMA Achievement Award

Professor Rolf A. Lundin has been awarded the IPMA Achievement Award at the organization's world congress in Istanbul on 1-3 November.

The IPMA (International Project Management Association) is an organization for project managers all over the world, and they also promote research by giving awards to, among others, promising young researchers. The IPMA Research Achievement award goes to a distinct researcher for his or her contributions to project management research and the enhancement of the profession. The award has only been given once before, to Peter W.G. Morris.

During the last 20 years or so, Rolf A. Lundin has mostly specialized in research on projects and temporary organizations. Currently he is working on TV and TV production through the Media Management and Transformation Centre at Jรถnkรถping International Business School.

"I am particularly pleased to receive an award from an organization such as IPMA, as it reasonably means that they have found what I do not only theoretically interesting but also practically important," says professor Lundin.
