Congratulations to Marcela Ramirez-Pasillas

JIBS is one of the founding members of the STEP research project. The STEP Project focuses on integrating entrepreneurship and family business academics and multigenerational family businesses to understand Successful Transgenerational Entrepreneurship Practices. JIBS's founding team was integrated by Leif Melin, Mattias Nordqvist, and Ethel Brundin. Leif Melin was a member of the Global STEP Board from 2010 to 2012 where he contributed in strengthening the links among partnering universities. Mattias Nordqvist was Co-Director of the Latin American Chapter from 2007-2009. During these years he helped advance the work of the STEP Latin American Chapter. Ethel Brundin contributed as a member of the European STEP Council from 2010 to 2012. She developed a collaboration with the University of  Western Cape (UWC) in South Africa where she conducted a joint research project on South African family firms. She works to support women entrepreneurship in South Africa. CeFEO has developed a number of cases of Swedish family businesses and has published research papers in a variety of topics. Marcela joined the JIBS’s team in 2012.
