Journals and books
The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at University of Rwanda arranged the first international conference named Eastern Africa Business and Economic Watch (EABEW) together with JIBS in June 2015. With more than 60 presentations from 15 different countries it was at large a success the very first year.
As result of the EABEW conference in 2015 three books were published by Springer in 2016. The books were titled "Economic Integration, Currency Union, and Sustainable and Inclusive Growth in East Africa
External link, opens in new window.", "Poverty and Well-Being in East Africa External link, opens in new window." and "Entrepreneurship and SME Management Across Africa External link, opens in new window.". The first two titles were edited by Prof Almas Heshmati and the last title was edited by Prof. Ethel Brunin and Prof Leona Achtenhagen.
