JU Reads
In autumn 2026, a new initiative will start at Jönköping University, namely JU Reads - a fiction initiative where students can broaden their perspectives through reading and discussion.
Starting in the autumn semester of 2026, JU students will have the chance to participate in JU Reads - a new concept to promote understanding, empathy, and critical thinking through reading and discussions.
Through small book groups, students will develop their abilities and deepen both personal and professional skills. The project is possible thanks to the cooperation of Bonniers Familjestiftelse and the Hamrin Foundation.
Launch party on 3 September
JU Reads starts in September 2026 and offers several reading groups in both Swedish and English to meet JU's diversity. On 3 September, a launch event will be held where students, staff and the public are invited to mingle and exciting (currently secret) author talks.
More information will come after the summer.
