Nikolas Kakela, PhD

Nikolas Käkelä’s research focuses on industrial organizing, with a particular interest in customization and the organizational challenges that arise when products and solutions are adapted to specific customer needs. His research addresses, among other things, coordination within and across organizational boundaries, customer–supplier interfaces, and learning and knowledge development in relation to customization.

Nikolas is Programme Director of the Bachelor of Science in Engineering programme Sustainable Supply Chain Management.
