    In Copenhagen, August 13, 2015, the general assembly elected Mart Ots onto the new board of the Swedish Media & Communications Research Association. The board, which will be chaired by Henrik Örnebring of Karlstad University, will among other things work to grow the collaboration between research organizations in the Nordic countries. http://www.mediekom.se/

  • Mart Ots and MMTC affiliate Arne Krumsvik chair Nordmedia division.


    The division for Media Management, Economics and Policy at Nordmedia continues to grow and is now including around 40 scholars from the Nordic countries and beyond. The group met at the biannual Nordmedia conference in Copenhagen August 13-15.

  • … and says farewell to three long time co-workers


    During fall 2015, Lucy Kung will leave her part-time professorship at MMTC and Jönköping International Business School which she has held since 2008. She contributed to MMTC in her capacity as part-time professor and as an influential scholar in the field of media management. Among other things, Lucy was a contributing factor to the success of MMTC’s Media Innovation event held in Stockholm in June 2015. Benjamin and Berit Hartmann are both long-time co-workers who both received their doctoral degrees at MMTC and JIBS. They now move on to positions as senior lecturers at Gothenburg Business School. We wish them best of luck in their new positions.
