In 2017, the Jönköping Academy together with the Dartmouth Institute, launched a new international network to explore how coproduction can improve health.
The network is an initiative originating from Paul Batalden and Boel Andersson Gäre. The activities of the network are based on "Communities of Practice" (CP) in various areas such as primary care. Within each CP, patients, practitioners and researchers meet with a variety of ways to develop and explore coproduction in healthcare. The work of Communities of Practice will be able to spread within the network, and knowledge production will be important for network development. The network will work with practical improvement projects as well as research.
In support of increased and better cooperation and knowledge dissemination, a "digital habitat" develops, it will be a living environment for all "residents" in the network. The development of the digital habitat is run by a team from Jönköping Academy.
